Anybody near Toccoa ? Looks like they might have gotten something per radar?

Toccoa is reporting overcast(20 minutes ago), and Gainesville is also reporting overcast(1 hour ago).  Gainseville looks like they should be getting some snow.  I'll be keeping an eye on that when they update.

Edit: Just updated and Gainesville is still reporting overcast.

Not enough moisture to overtake dewpoints imho...30/16 here

I just don't understand virga. When the upper level system swung  through the other day (Wed pm I think), the air was every bit as cold and dry (probably drier) and the sky was only about half clouded over yet flurrries and showers abounded. I've seen that many times. Yet tonight, with a full canopy, and an actual line of precipitation, nere' a flake can reach the ground. What?

**sigh** looks like the axis of heaviest snow is pinwheeling around ATL. Guess we will await the IP/ZR phase coming later. Hope we get a real snow storm next week. These last two were like watching a scrambled Playboy channel in 1981. Kinda saw something, but not really...

Lol :) Quote of the year.  Now we just have to find where to get our descrambler! (not that I did that - was only 3 in 1981)
