"omega bomb" for south coast, only big snowfall that winter for southern areas before the pattern flipped around 1/20 http://mp1.met.psu.edu/~fxg1/NARR/2004/us1226.php I remember it was forecasted to be 2-4 in Mansfield, MA where I lived, and ending up with a foot.
