jamesnichols89
Negative tilt to the upper level troughing over the OH valley. Leading to cyclogenesis off the East Coast as upper level clouds are becoming enhanced over NJ and east of NJ.
Clinch Leatherwood
You think this means that the third storm system comes further west like the 18z NAM showed? No idea may simply mean more snow in this first burst inland. These things are so unpredictable it's almost a waste to watch too much before it evolves
CoastalWx
Radar doesn't do this justice out here on the edge of the beam. See through fluff?
jamesnichols89
Yeah that's true. I think it means the whole upper level system is more amplified and further west than modeled.

wxeyeNH
Light to almost moderate snow 19.8F great snow growth, large flakes. Radar exploding west of Boston in that band that looks to slowly move east to me. I have a feeling this is going to be a big over performer for a large area. Such an unusual storm. dendrite
York county must be getting 3-4"/hr in that band.Yeah...I think it's coming along pretty much as planned. The main meat and potatoes will be PSM-DAW north and east while we get a little appetizer west of there with a general 0.10-0.25" of fluff.
