Thanks for posting it. Also, I can confirm the 100% for the creek I live on. Well, except for the non frozen areas with a bubbler. And even those are shrinking. :/

Symblized
Yeah, this was the bay earlier today from Terrapin Park. Lots of ice from the bridge north. In looking out my office window, I assume that the inner harbor in Baltimore will be frozen solid before the precip hits this weekend. Right now there are only pockets of water off of Pier 1 (where the Constellation usually is) and an open channel near the Four Seasons hotel. Scuddz
Nice! How does this compare with last year for peak ice cover? Seems to be higher than last year by a bit. 09-10 analogy
If my point-and-click forecast holds, MBY is going to be below 18 degrees for at least 48 hours straight. Low tonight 9 Thu high 17 Thu low -2 Friday high 17 Friday low 7 I'm pretty sure that's never happened to me in DC. Unless it was sometime in 1994. EDIT: Duh, it might have happened earlier this week.
Ian
NWS seems too cold for DC at least. Getting an official high below 20 here is pretty hard and MOS has been above 20.
