So the convective band just came through Northern Winston like a wrecking ball.... Honestly that snow was almost better than the entire storm from the other night.  Like others have said, the visibility dropped to below 500ft and huge flakes were flying everywhere.  The grass and every other surface was covered within a matter of minutes except for the roads since the temps were above 32.  It was a much more wet snow compared to the other day, perfect for snowballs. Too bad it only last 20 minutes. An hour or two of that would've been great!

Looks like Burger is gonna get some after all...Radar looks great around CTL!

 

Initial batch of precip the HRRR forecasted was on point ahead of the line coming into Wake Co...although slower and light, we'll see what happens.
