KeithB
KB imby cryin is not allowed here... you will do well sir...trust me go outside for a walk by the time you get back you into snow http://rammb.cira.colostate.edu/ramsdis/online/goes-west_goes-east.asp geir404.gif ok. Fair enough. But I am holding you responsible This virga / dry slot combo has gotten me into a panic. I don't want a 4th straight event underperforming my area by 75%+ in accumulations. WintersGrasp
sf.gifNow THAT is a map that could verify. Good one. Definitely not going to get these 6,8,10 inch amounts in the NENJ/NYC area. Way overdone. 2-4" (5-6 S and W) and then mix/freezing rain. A nice thump but some of these amounts being thrown out are wishcasting

SnoSki14
What model is putting out that map...seems to give the shaft to eastern jersey Which is odd considering the dry slots are in the western regions.

Allsnow
I think the best forcing by the LLJ has sunk south a bit. Areas along 95 towards the city should do really well...again things ramp up between 3-4pm. Right now it's pouring snow here
Doorman
I'm thinking maybe 15 inches for me. 1.

Patrick-02540
Rockland looks to get dry slotted based on the current radar, this is disturbing to say the least Indeed. There are screw holes popping up all over the northeast. I hate the fragmented look. An hour ago, we had a solid wall.

Animal
Agreed! The wishcasting in here is so extreme that very few people seem to be seeing the huge dry slot that is already encroaching into many of our regions. This forum is a pretty interesting study on people on seeing what they want to see. I would find it comical if the 6-8 inch forecast turned into a 2-3 inch snowfall. Still a nice winter day.
