Mophstymeo
There is snow on the ground everywhere north of a line from Cape Hatteras, NC across to the southern border of the state of Tennessee. How much warm air can reasonably & plausibly be expected to be advected north given such a circumstance, considering the mid latitude disturbance is not some behemoth? Interesting. I always enjoy reading your take.

USCG RS
Referring that they might still be snow..The 850 freezing line doesn't transverse LI until hr 57. That could still remain snow through this time, unless you're suspecting a warm 925?

SnoSki14
That would be an awesome front end dump and it's possible the surface ends up colder until the precip starts to get lighter.
