blizzardof96
lol, in Etobicoke this weekend. Too lazy to change my location. Closing in on an inch here. lol, I know your in Etobicoke. Upstream was probably the wrong word... but you do tend to see changes at least a little bit before me. Hopefully the HRRR is correct with the NW extent of this band. Flake size is grainy although it's a wall of grains. Actually had more plates and even a few dendrites mixed in when it was coming down lighter earlier. blizzardof96
Best axis of 925-700mb fronto is in a good position right now for a few hours of impressive returns. Heaviest rates should fall between now and 2pm with highest QPF along the lake shore. Final call: 3-5" for toronto

Chicago WX
Sounds you GTA guys are and will do well. Very nice. Waning moments here, but beautiful snow right now. Coming straight down without any wind. A nice bonus. Hopefully this all holds together for those to the east.

Snowstorms
Got a nice 4.0cm so far in my area. Snowing nicely with good ratios. Per radar it looks like the GTA could pick up an additional 1-2" through the day.

Jackstraw
Doesn't take much snow to make the roads treacherous around here. Drive to work was dicey. Stuck the ruler on the sidewalk in front here, for giggles, and measured 2.2". Woo. Just drove back from IND and yeah it's dicey out there. A little over 3 here but really coming down right now. blizzardof96
If the HRRR is correct, we will be near 6" by the time all is said and done.
OntarioChaser
Already ~10cm here in Hamilton. Definitely going to overshoot expectations big time, maybe even hit snowfall warning criteria of 15cm.
Snowstorms
If the HRRR is correct, we will be near 6" by the time all is said and done. Nice surprise, thats for sure. Most models had us getting no more than 2-2.5" and now the possibility of getting double that is certainly in reach. Should freshen up our snow pack and increase our chances of seeing the coldest night of the season tomorrow night.

snowstormcanuck
2.5" here. Looks like 4" is a good number. Frontogenesis band is slowly sinking SE/weakening. Thinking it'll be tough to get into the 5-6" range.
Jackstraw
This would've been another in a chain of disappointments if it weren't for this last band coming through this morning. 4 in. of concrete now. Still moderate SN. Looks like another 30-45 min on the radar, might get another .5 if it keeps up.
