SRRTA22
I'm on WxTap using the regional radar Precip shield definitely looks like its taking a pivot more northerly last few frames Can this be confirmed?
Ja643y
Never post... Mostly just lurk and learn, but I will say, regardless of what the predictions were, this is an over performer... Beautiful powdery snow accumulating on everything in Manhattan with an absolute snow globe feel to it. Steve D had this one nailed from yesterday and may even bust on the low side if we get this band to pivot just a bit
Allsnow
Congrats Edison...they always seem to do pretty nicely. Thanks guys and gals! Just dumping the most beautiful flakes I have ever seen. Feathers from the sky. Close to 4 here now....this turned out a lot better then I thought. Every flake you can watch stick and stack up.

tmagan
The three main reporting stations within NYC proper are all reporting light snow at the moment, I think we might have a sliding scale of heavy snow.

Guest Pamela
The radar definitely looks like moderate snow over much of the area... For the NWS radar...blue usually implies light snow; greens moderate snows...there has been a reasonable amount of acreage in the region under green echoes. winterwx21
Notice the back edge of the moderate snow in Hunterdon/Somerset counties starting to collapse to the southeast. We might be getting close to the end of the significant snow here, but a nice little overperformer. Gonna end up between 4 and 5 inches for most of Middlesex county.
