Precipitation has come to an end here.  There must be some very, very stubborn dry air entrenched out here that does not want to give way.

Looked at the radar...looks like a mile to my west they have moderate to heavy snow...will go downstairs to take another glance.

Close to a half inch here.....Light to Moderate snow at times.....Hoping to get up to maybe a couple inches if it continues for a few more hours here.....Such nice large shimmering flakes.....Can't say this is an over performer though (We're under a winter weather advisory for 2-4). I'm expecting 1-2, was thinking 1-3 earlier.....Not really all about the accumulated snow amount, though someone south of here should get 4 or so (nice banding Trenton area to old bridge and the monmouth coast right into areas southwest of long beach). Time to enjoy the snow! Overnight snows are the best

At 3:25 AM it started to snow normally here...it took 2 hours for the line to move 2 miles...the thing that is galling is that it will probably be snowing in New London CT in 10 minutes...
