Heisy
Some saturation issues right now, but radar looks good, it should start snowing nicely for most of us shortly
Ralph Wiggum
Where? I am not seeing it in western MontcoCheck radar, band is exploding right over central Montco. Not sure if they are "saturated" yet or not but once that column is moist enough all the way to the surface I bet you moderate-heavy will be reported. famartin
lol.... why looking so good on radar but not reflective on ground reports... column not saturated? Not sure, but that may be. Dry air source is close to the best radar reflectivities.
Ralph Wiggum
Hoping that band moves just a few miles East for me later in Warminster.
JCT777
Heavy death band developing in Montgomery County. I'm under it and it's light snow. Clearly, it's fighting some very dry air.

Ralph Wiggum
I don't know, haven't seen visibility to the west much below 2 miles yet.Definitely a struggle with the dry air right now on the North side. This I agree with. Still think this particular banding feature is going to be a key player later provided it holds together.

Morch Madness
Flakes are enormous. If we do get into accumulating snows, it will certainly be high-ratio.
RU848789
Is that 20-30 DBZ band reaching Allentown, PA now putting down accumulating snow? I would think it would be. That band has moved about 30-40 miles to the North while moving generally to the NE. If the band holds together and maintains latitude, moving east along 78, that would give me some snow here in the Edison area (about 10 miles south of the northern edge of the current band) and hopefully give snow to folks as far north as the southern half of NYC/LI. Of course, the band could fall apart or start edging SE, too - I'm not an expert in this, just looking at current trajectory and projecting...
