Birds~69
Right on schedule which is good. Also very little Virga associated with it. That's what I noticed from obs which is huge. Nothing more depressing than radar echoes and nothing...nada.

JLO3
Snowing in Magnolia, DE. Roads are white, only took about 10 min. I am getting to head home through Dover, but I am not seeing a virga issue here.

famartin
People... there is definitely some virga on the leading edge. Just look at DOX. If there wasn't virga, it'd be snowing over most of SE PA and S NJ right now. http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/index.php?type=DOX-N0Q-1-

shemATC
Temp: 15 Dp: 4 Humid: 55 HRRR has that band disappearing over the next two hours. Hope it's wrong, but with the way this winter has gone for us. Just a newbie, so forgive the question, but why have forecasts been so off this winter within 24hrs? Too much reliance on models and not enough science?

Winter Wizard
Looks like flurries have commenced in North Wilmington. 13/0. My bar for this storm is 2". I'm on the border as usual so I'm nervous and preparing myself for disappointment. Although, I still did decently in 1/30/10, 3/3/14, and 3/17/14, so I think I should be okay. Treckasec
1 Hour Ago: Now: Looks good for us. Those dry air pockets shouldn't be a problem later in to the storm. Looks like I'll decide whether or not I should call it quits at 2 AM ( assuming it will take that long ) Oh, and radar above doesn't show virga precip. CoolHandMike
Still virga in West Chester, although there are some heavier returns on the Nexrad now just to our west.
RevWarReenactor
Virga in Newark Delaware along I-95 near the toll plaza. Been under returns for about 45 mins. There is a moderate return heading this way from the Baltimore/APg area. I imagine that is when it will actually start.

I think it shows less virga, but the leading edge of the snow on that radar (just checked the PSU site) is about 10 miles east of here and not a flake yet.
