blizzardlover
I agree w/the hauling ass. It does appear to be truckin.. Glenn/NBC10 at 4:50pm...think it's a tad high around Philly/local burbs....we'll see. S/E should do well.. Glenn is the best met in Philly, by far. I put a lot of stock in what he says. Prestige Worldwide
Light snow just started in Lewes. 16 degrees- hoping for 6-10 inches down here
iverson3
The earlier arrival will certainly help - the area where the northern edge ultimately slows down/stop should have some good banding as well - 6-9 is a solid call for SNJ, 6+ in Philly
Hurricane Agnes
OBS Overcast 17.6 F Winds light SW The dews are still quite low so it may take a bit to moisten enough to break through, if the shield south of here pushes up further north. iverson3
Hope to hell but I'm not seeing it right now... The snow is anywhere from 3-6 hours ahead of schedule for many places - this will at least allow for a good 1-2 inches to accumulate before the main batch even arrives - watch the radar the next couple hours and check out the obs, you'll see some good trends

JTA66
Looks like on the last few radar frames, the snow is hitting a wall on a Baltimore to Dover line. Let see what progress it makes in the next few hours.

famartin
The snow that gets Philly is in that fgen band over the Ohio Valley, most likely. That's also where you are most likely to get good ratios.

Treckasec
New NWS map. Surprised there is 8-10 at Cape May. Change for the better here. Temp: 15 DP: 0 Humidity: 50 Pretty sure the humidity was around 44 just at the beginning of this hour. Really hoping to get this dry air outta here, but it seems that we won't be seeing that much snow from how fast the storm is moving and how little snow is left for us. Oh well, I hope the south enjoys their winter treat.

dieselbug
Very sharp edge to precip. Milford (southern Kent county ) has light snow with a coating already... I just stopped for coffee in Dover abt. 14 miles north... not a flake! The kdox radar shows this nicely.
