KamuSnow
4.0" so far, might have been tamped down a little by the graupel mixing in around 4 am or so. Still a little light snow falling, but looks to be about it for accumulations here. 12F, cold out there! Roads are surprisingly slippery in spots. A nice snowfall to say the least :-). And what an awesome week of winter weather this is.

Hurricane Agnes
Thought the 2 hour was silly to begin with...I've seen really lame times where schools were closed. I think what happened was that when Mt. Holly upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning this morning, the 2-hour delay had already gone out, and they decided to go on and close after listening to the traffic reports (too cold for salt to effectively melt, icy spots everywhere that got packed down, and no city side streets done). Hurricane Agnes
Was able to find some relatively flat spots that didn't have drift under them and wow. Got about 5" after one last burst came through. Was surprised at how much actually stuck to the trees as if it were wet snow... plus the clumped texture of the flakes was a bit different from pure powder. Temp is creeping up now @ 15.1F. Winds light, NW. Sun is starting to peep out.
