It's a balmy 12 degrees, dp -2  :axe:  This storm is absolutely hauling some serious a**. I'll be surprised if it's still snowing when the sun comes up. Also be surprised if we get anything over an inch...

If you're in Fleetwood PA...yeah a inch or so/less....not sure why you're surprised?

Surprised because I'm not expecting anything over an inch... So if we do get more I'll be "surprised."  NWS says 2-3"(via their updated snow map), most local news outlets are going 2-4/1-3. I'm going coating to an inch.

Oh...2-4" certainly seems out of range...1" max seems more realistic.

Overcast...16.4....looks like snow.

I agree with you sir. Certainly hope we are both wrong tho.

Cheers

Edit: To add to my comment of this storm hauling a**. Where the 18z GFS initialized at hour 6 or 00z, the surface map looks exactly like the current radar at just 5pm...

I agree w/the hauling ass. It does appear to be truckin..

Glenn/NBC10 at 4:50pm...think it's a tad high around Philly/local burbs....we'll see. S/E should do well..

May I ask how you post the actual radar loop? The last few frames definitely show a more NE advancement with the precip shield as opposed to the west-east advancement. Just how far NE it makes is our regions million dollar question.

Light snow has just begun here in lower DE.  I have to be at the maintenance yard in Swedesboro NJ by 8pm tonight. Snow may be a little ahead of schedule...

It definitely seems to be. There is really not much virga via the Mid Atlantic forum. Which should really help us out. It was very encouraging going through their OBS thread. That radar isn't looking half bad either. The N push can't be denied.
