Randy4Confluence
I'm elated. 6 inches of snow! The moisture is collapsing SE real real fast but this was definitely a very good storm! Now, we get to enjoy cold weather with it! Happy to hear that! Hopefully you can expaerience more on Sat and maybe get your numbers up to around your average for the year. Eskimo Joe
This wasn't a bad storm, considering where we were at T-50 hours. We measured 3.5" in Gaithersburg. Might add another 0.1 - 0.2" if this back side holds together.
arlwx
Snow continues. I'm over 5 inches. Just got done brooming the driveway yet again. Had to shovel it as well. Its so deep I can't tell where the front porch ends and the walk begins, and sure enough I tripped and went headlong. Talk about a full face shot of snow lmao, right into one of the 3 foot high piles! All-time LMAO geeze. I think I got my damn snow fix though. Its a damn good thing its 2 in the morning and everyone's fast asleep - I would have NEVER lived that one down NWS's faceplant will be remembered long after yours. CAPE
6" here. Nice storm. Plus I still have much of the 3 that fell Sat night, So most places I have 8 inches+ on the ground.
North Balti Zen
3.4 here, taken from a variety of measurements. Luckily, the models had killed the 6-10 hope up here early so while a little under 4 is slightly disappointing - it is a crazy beautiful snow and scene out there. Still stalking a verified warning. mdhokie
Lesson learned, go with the conservative ratio and QPF. Got about 4" here just south of BWI. I was planning on a 3-6" type storm until we started hyping ratios and NWS went bullish with 6-10". Oh well the gubmint and schools are closed and the snow is really beautiful. wawarriors4
Ended up with 8.3" down here in Spotsylvania.....LE is 0.69" for a SLR of about 12:1....a little drier than and lower SLR that I though, but an awesome storm altogether. For the season we are up to 9.5".........
Jebman
You may not think 6 inches of snow is a lot to shovel - but after helping my neighbor AND trying to shovel MY driveway and walk, that's a lot of snow. Calls for Jebman are coming in from all sides lol
Jebman
Happy to hear that! Hopefully you can expaerience more on Sat and maybe get your numbers up to around your average for the year. Thanks Randy, I hope you all get a LOT more snow up in New England and set an all time new record for snow in one season!
Ellinwood
Final measurement in Germantown of 2.8" ...will add home measurement when I get there in about an hour. Definitely was more there than here when I left.
clskinsfan
It's absolutely gorgeous out but I am a little disappointed. I measured 3.4 inches at midnight last night and went to bed expecting a decent chance to double that. Just took my final measurement of 4.2inches. So i didn't even pick up an inch from 12 to 6. Or maybe some compaction overnight? Regardless my office is closed today so it's a work from home day. I need around 9 more inches to reach climo. Maybe that happens over the next couple of weeks. Enjoy the snow everyone!!!!

mappy
Sorry. I thought you'd get another 0.15" liquid and better ratios. No worries. I knew it was gonna be low when I only measured 2" at 130am. Radar didn't look great at that hour. Oh well. Not enough to keep me home so need to get ready for work. mitchnick
3.2 or 3.3". that looks close to what I got here to, but if I had to guess I'd say 3.5-4" whatever BWI officially measures would be similar I'm sure as it was pretty uniform it seems still light snow continues
AmericanWxFreak
3.2 or 3.3". Who would have thought we would do better with the squall?
Snowpocalypse
After all my boo-hoing last night my location actually did ok. Got about 4-4.5 in Elkton and around 5ish in North East.
BlizzardNole
It's pretty out but 3" is a disappointment with 4-8" forecasted. Never saw even moderate snow. Hopes for a warning criteria event this winter are fading.
H2O
5" Not sure how others did but I suppose I should be happy. It did double my season total
BlizzardNole
Who would have thought we would do better with the squall? Well at least my area did better than the squall -- since we only got a half inch from that. God what a frustrating winter.
mitchnick
oficcially, the airports reported the following at midnight: BWI-2" IAD-2.5" DCA-2.9" I would figure BWI picked up 1.5-2" after midnight based on what I'm seeing outside
