Scraff
Is there a reason that the MoCo / HoCo area seems to get banded so often? I feel like there have been a lot of times over the past couple of winters when I was hoping one of those bands would make it up here. We are the new Mason Dixon line. You didn't get that memo? :-)
North Balti Zen
Where are you at in Baltimore? Anyways I'm seeing like 4-5" for BWI, 5-6" for DCA. 3" for my backyard That was as I was leaving downtown, Charles and Fayette. A few flurries at my house in Hamilton neighbourhood when I got home. nw baltimore wx
I still think there will be a persistent band between MoCo and the northern tier. It will move back and forth but generally hang around. I can recall many times on the northern edge where bands set up against a cold wedge and couldn't seem to penetrate it for awhile and just kept unloading on the same locales. Light snow and 18. nj2va
what a pleasant departure from when we waste the 1st 0.10" on white rain at 38 degrees... yup; its nice that the side streets here are covered too. I'm usually staring at my mulch to see if its turning white while everything else is just wet. A few bigger flakes here and there are mixing back in but 90% pixie still. We're probably slightly exceeding guidance right now.
