can confirm. Just drove from dc east to 301 and north to crofton. 50 was slushy and 301 was completely snow covered. I passed a plow near my house and it was just dropping salt. Plow was up.

Yes it was. But since yesterday afternoon, we knew we would be hit so that took the pressure off. But we need a good old fashioned coastal that has some real moisture to work with.

You're talking to the guy who refuted there even was a dry slot earlier, despite the obvious evidence of it on radar coming through WV.  It was just me being me, though, I guess.  It may fill in, it may not,   The HRRR showed this dry area out in western VA today and so did the majority of the globals
