Is there a reason that the MoCo / HoCo area seems to get banded so often?  I feel like there have been a lot of times over the past couple of winters when I was hoping one of those bands would make it up here.

my best guess is elevation and being west of the fall line.....they don't always band though...parts of Moco did pretty "bad" last year compared to some others...
