What exactly determines wet bulb temp? I know there is a formula, but if dryness of air (ie RH) is a factor, wouldn't it change as the saturation changes? Lettucesnow Posted February 16, 2015 Share Posted February 16, 2015 I drove from Jamestown along 311 to the Winston-Salem area around 2:15 and experienced flurries at the beginning of my drive. As I got to the border of the Guilford/Forsyth county line the show picked up a bit and became heavier. I could hear ice hitting the windshield although it appeared to fall more like light snow rather than IP. It came to an abrupt end as I entered Winston but I've seen flurries peaking through every once and a while here in NW Winston since I've been back home. Looking at radar trends i'm hoping they continue to fill in and i'll be seeing flurries turn into light snow showers here shortly!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
