No snow for you Posted February 16, 2015 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Here at gsp, we are getting ice at a rate of .1 inch per hour and it looks like we have a while to go. It started around noon at 35 and the wet bulbs have been taking down to where it is 27.8 here right outside of downtown. I don't know how your area seems to luck out everytime. In CLT saw some light token flurries about the size of fleas and that was it for the snow. Models every year are horrible with surface temps in a wedge. To me this is a really memorable bust for my location/north ga and parts of sc. I mean none of the models were even close to being cold enough. You name the model and they were wrong..by a lot.
