ORH_wxman
Figured we should make a thread for this. Today's 16.2" storm total brings BOS up to 95.7" on the season. That ranks #3 behind 1993-1994 (96.3") and 1995-1996 (107.6"). BOS also now has 58.5" of snow in the month of February. This is the snowiest month on record by more than 15" (January 2005 had 43.3"). After recording 34.3" in January, BOS has their highest two month snow total on record. In the past 23 days since January 24th, BOS has had 90.2" of snow. ORH now has 103.0" of snow after recording 10.1" in today's event. This ranks 7th right behind 1960-1961 (104.3") and just ahead of 2000-2001 (102.1"). The record snowfall is 132.9" in 1995-1996. ORH has recorded 47.8" in the month of February after recording 46.5" in the month of January. This marks the first time ORH has ever had back to back 40"+ months. It is also the most snow on record for a 2 month period. The total snowfall at ORH in the past 23 days since January 24th is 89.1". We can continue to track records in this thread to make it easy to follow them. Anyone can add other records that I'm missing...some other first order stations up in Maine might have some. Nothing over 1" the rest of that month, and took until Jan 31st for the first snowfall greater than 2" again.
