Kevin Reilly
That band going through pittsuburgh means business.... that's most likely your convective band for later... all major interstates on east side there are snow covered very low visibility. RedSky
It is interesting how your area is probably the only area in the region above average. Upper Bucks, Montco. The entire northern elevation SEPA region.
KamuSnow
I went outside a little after 12 to blow off the driveway and a few flakes had started to fall. I wound up blowing a bunch of debris and leaves off this hill first, the snow started picking up, and it just kept snowing, it was awesome! I had lowered my expectations for the early part of this afternoon since there seemed to be more virga than anything from the radar returns. So while technically this isn't bonus snow, it kind of feels like it...Measured 0.60" so far, 28F. Woo hoo!

penndotguy
i thought northern areas were supposed to see more snow than southern areas, seems like the opposite is occurring I realize the heaviest snow wont be till the front approaches but we have seen nothing hardly at all here near Reading

The Iceman
How about Berks? it case you didn't see on the previous page, looks like 2 maybe 3 inches in berks, that's just about the cut off from the 3 inch snows.... the convective snows stay in central/south jersey. there's actually an 8 inch lolli in burlington/ocean county. JCT777
That band is going to ruin someone's Valentines Day dinner. I'll say...that band looks pretty fierce. Could pick up a quick 1 to 2 inches, along with some very gusty winds.

Hurricane Agnes
Round 1 pretty much done. Just some flurries left. Finished up with 0.4" snow. Looking at Quakertown's radar map - that's some rough stuff coming for Round 2. Very convective but also looks like a faster mover. Current OBS Flurries Temp 27.5F Winds light SSE

The Iceman
Mountains will eat it up why do you think that? what model shows that? or is this just a case of being negative just to be negative? it's ok to have that opinion but back it up.
