CoastalWx
I didn't think there was magic to it. 4-6 in the WAA stuff and then .3-4" addiational QPF easily gives another several inches. GFS actually helped this..and the RGEM was generously close to the coast with this which helps confidence.

Damage In Tolland
Even 91 is really fringed here, its more like route 32. Well most people not from the area have no idea where in the sam hell route 32 is..It's easier to use a major interstate as it generally does work out that way..just like north of Pike/south of pike or north or south of the Merritt. The weather follows the highways
Great Snow 1717
NWS has 14-18 for my area. Currently 8 new inches of snow in Methuen so I doubt 14-18 is going to verify. And boom... magical winter for the ages continues... StormTotalSnowRange_02_15_2015_6am.png

Damage In Tolland
Or 6"+ in the WAA and another 8-12" in this convective band. I remember someone posting yesterday we'd see some places get 6+ in the WAA alone

HullMA
Buried..... On the box map im under 14-18 here in scituate. I probably have 6-7". I think you have a better shot at 14-18 verifying. You got over double what i did from the first wave as well. Amazing storm. WE GOT IT BABY!!!

moneypitmike
As the winds begin to veer more to the NW now, the cooler air can be ushered in. So far, I'm bouncing between NW-NE so still on the warm side of things. If the gusty winds verify, that'll be the highlight of the storm out here. 11.9/9 SN

CoastalWx
The QPF backed off at the end , though. This is better than the blizzard. Snowgrowth immense. It did, which is why I got a few jokes from staying with 8-12 from friends. I got nervous, but thought it would be ok. I actually felt better that Will agreed. moneypitmike
Euro laid a turd.... Yeah. Between the blizzard and this, the GFS has shown some good signs. In these same systems, the Euro has simply sucked.
