those bands are developing pretty far west moving very slowly east and one can see the onshore flow really starting to kick up along the coast,i'd say were going to be in some heavy snow snow sooner then later around n.y.c,not even considering the norlun placement either,although my best guess is right across the metro area per .  :whistle:

How do you think the LP tracking further south will affect the situation? Will the inverted trough move further south as well or will the LP have more time to develop off the coast?

Every model on the planet has the IVT right over the boroughs and LI. NNJ and SWCT as well.

4"-8" looks very likely with a chance of higher for whoever is in the middle of the IVT band.
