PennMan
Just got in from a walk during the entirety of the squall here in Bellefonte. Fantastic rates, visibility down around 100ft at times. Sweet.

MAG5035
The stuff behind the line isn't too shabby either, snowing pretty hard again with increasing winds. Visibility probably about 1/8 mile.

Visibility probably about 1/8 mile. Another whiteout in Altoona....I thought it was done til just now wow. Just got in. That was amazing being caught in that whiteout driving in the city. Visibility might have been thirty yds at one point. Roads are terrible in the city. Saw two fender benders near Greenwood Rd

kerplunk
Two shots from the Arboretum cam. First one is light snow, so you have a frame of reference. Second shot is during the squall. The car that you can barely make out in the lower center of the frame has its headlights on. Think it snowed harder where I am - will have video tomorrow. canderson
So my wife's grandmother is dying in carlisle, prob not making it through the night, we just were told. Do we dare try to race this squall line down 81? :/
CarlislePaWx
For those of us down here near Harrisburg it looks like the squall is about one-half the width of what it is only 25 miles north of here. Looks like we'll get to enjoy it but for less time. It's literally on my doorstep now...

PennMan
Getting more heavy snow in a very narrow band training over Bellefonte. Maybe 1/4 mi vis right now. Might snag another half inch from this. Wind is picking up and the temperature is dropping. EDIT: Wow...1/8mi vis at best right now. Just pouring snow. Not quite as intense as the main squall but probably the second heaviest snow of the year.
AlexP
On the radar it looks like the worst of it will skirt north of HBG. Oh well. Time to enjoy whatever we get.
