Here you go per the CTP disco, as well as the other major stations. Most of those are probably getting busted tonight. Altoona is probably going to be past the -2ºF record well before midnight even gets here.

State college's record is -8 for the 16th and -7 for the 17th. Since the new day starts at 12Z for State College's climo, there's a decent shot at both lows.

Current temps at Millersville are 4/-10. We ended up tying the all time daily record low max for the month of February. Tomorrow's record low is -4. I think we might be able to make a run at it tonight. It's going to be close. It's clear as anything outside. One solid hour of calm wind near daybreak should do the trick. Fingers crossed

Fixed it.

haha I thought that was good, to be frank...

stick to the weather? good idea...

unofficial high of 13 and low of 3 puts Harrisburg at the 11th coldest February on record through the 15th (avg 24.6 - record 21.4 in 1934)... with the way temps look this next week we will make a serious run at the record which is incredible without much snow cover

Initial look at the 0z Euro looks slightly weaker with the low and really cuts the precip shield above I-80 and overall QPF in the rest of PA. Looks closer to the NAM/GFS but probably still a bit better than those models for the southern tier.

Also, down to -7 here currently. Meso obs already showing a couple -20ºF readings near Smethport and Coudersport.
