Lightning showing north of Tyrone (on RadarScope) - also looks like the SC hole in the frontal band is shaping up very nicely!

I thought I might've heard some faint thunder about 5-10 min ago from that direction, nothing loud though so wasn't completely sure.

Just took a fantastic 3 min video, it's a complete whiteout here.

This is affecting me like an incoming severe thunderstorm affects me, not like a snowstorm. My adrenaline is through the roof and it hasn't even started yet. ^_^

Same, been looking forward to this all day. Just heard a plane go by...would not want to be a passenger on that flight!

Well, you guys weren't exaggerating. Lowest visibility I've seen here. About 75 feet at best. Would say we picked up an inch (easily) in about 20 minutes. Haven't measured exactly because I'm still filming thru the sliding glass doors and would need to open them to measure. Bummer is it was getting dark and then the squall made it even darker so the light to shoot wasn't the best.

All in all just a great squall. And it's still coming down, although not nearly as hard.
