Syrmax
Pretty decent differences between KBUF and KBGM snowfall maps....extrapolating them a bit, at least for my area. I usually think KBGM is closer...which would be 4-6" for No. Onandaga vs say, 8-10 using BUF's map as a guide. We shall see....
Polarbear
Looking at about 4-5" so far since last night... Snow hasn't completely stop but last hr or so has been pretty light and fine flakes... My quad(snowplow) is back together after about a wk down so Im ready to play in it again... WNash
I thought I'd get the shopping done this morning, before the cold moved in. When will I learn that despite what the Buffalo NWS office seems to think, a frozen lake can put down a good bit of snow. 6.5 inches in Parkside since yesterday morning. And it was really coming down when I was driving this morning - big dendrites, visibility under 50 yards.

coh
Wind has shifted to the NW now with moderate to heavy snow. Measured 4" of new snow since sometime yesterday. Total snow depth averages 20". Looking forward to what this system brings going forward.
BuffaloWeather
Going to take a depth measurement later, but it has to be around 30". This stuff is pure powder though. Compacts quickly.
coh
Has anyone looked at the new GFS? Looks like the arctic blast later in the week could be more severe than this one. And there's another one showing up around day 10. Now, of course you can't take any model literally that far out, but given the pattern there's really no reason to doubt it. Ugh... Yeah, it hasn't stopped snowing here since last night. Would be awesome if you guys could get in on the LES later tonight. Hopefully the wind direction is good.
