My 3.5" was confirmed by a NWS employee in Columbia.  Biggest event of the winter!

Close to 2 inches in 2 hours!

Nice! 3" here is my biggest event of the winter. Who woulda thunk it? Really impressive to watch- and it didn't take very long.

Yeah...I had 1-1.5" from the appetizer around 430-530 and then about 2" in just over an hour.  Pretty awesome stuff.

Nearby PWS record 0.17" of liquid.  That would be 20:1.  Not sure I trust that liquid, but either way that's a helluva lot more then what was advertised.

Pretty much all snow fell here between 7:30-8:30, but it was a high quality hour. I measured 1.6 before the wind hit and then it dumped for another 10 mins. I dunno...maybe I join the 1.7" people. Curious to see more reports.

Same here. I measured 1.6" just as the wind hit, but then I thought what the heck, I'm putting this down as 1.7" since it was still snowing after I came in

0.3" in Clarksburg.  The wind is doing some fun stuff with it though.  We'v ebeen dropping around a degree every 5 minutes and are now down to 15.9F.  Just had a peak gust of 51mph, the second over 50mph in the last 30 minutes and over 10 gusts over 40mph in the last hour.  Average wind over he last 30 minutes is 31mph.  10 minute average might get to TS force...

That modeling was dead on with the snow showers tonight. Central MD got 3 inches or more. I got exactly an eighth of an inch which is a vast improvement over getting my usual one thirty secondth of an inch of snow lol. There are a few slick spots on sidewalks as I found out on my jebwalk, I damn near fell on my @ss between that 45 mph gust and the slick spot.

Must be a solid whiteout in MD with all that snow and these high winds

Can't believe the high wind warning AND the wind chill warning! We're supposed to fall to 4 degrees tonight? With these high winds? wow
