It is actually heavy and wet. I would not be shocked if the stuff with the band was 5:1.

Interesting. Wonder what liquid totals are. Seems most spots about as expected but that zone north cashed in.

just south of Balt. did get in on the pre-game and main show....nice loop

Pretty neat.. more  than I was expecting up there. With low passing just south of overhead it does seem it could be like a triple point area/warm frontal zone. I'm bummed I missed it and just get the terrible part. :P

yes...it was pretty damn good. Jonjon's great.

He's a good guy. His wife makes an awesome breakfast too. Are you guys staying at their B and B? What a great house.

Enjoy the snow. Maybe head over to the purple fiddle for some good music, good brew, and even good coffee! I know how it feels to be away from home during an event, but I'd rather be there this weekend. THAT'S winter.

Edit: dann phoke.

finally, the wind starts creating whiteout conditions

this is like the 2/10/10 blizzard put on fast forward over 3 hours

Yeah. I think for about 15 minutes it snowed as hard as it can possibly snow. I dont ever remember seeing any less visibility in my lifetime.
