where are you measuring? not that i don't believe just seems it's awful windy for accurate stuff.

This was just so damn cool. Give me three or four hours of this and it would turn out to be a decent winter. What I most lament about DC snow climatology isn't so much the erratic accumulations -- after all I've had 6 12"+ snowstorms since 2003, one every two years ain't so bad -- but the kind of snow/wind combo I just experienced ... that's just not a common thing in DC. The only one of those six storms that really ranked in terms of visibility was 2.9.10, and I believe the winds were stronger with this event.
