buckeye
There's a nice band sw of Indy....if that can stay east/northeast, and the nw edge can juice up a bit, (which looks possible), we might be able to end this with at least a short period of moderate snow....and get our inch!!!! vespasian70
About 4 flakes per minute here.
vespasian70
Correction: up to 8 flakes per minute. I see that heavier band in Indiana ... hope that heads this way.

vespasian70
Light snow, everything recovered. I think we started this with a wind blown inch or two on the ground, so it will look pretty wintry regardless of how much we end up with.

cyclone77
Radar estimated QPE over the last 12hrs. Standard NCEP color scale. Dark green 0.25", dark blue 0.50", etc.
hoosierwx
Have about 4 inches and the defo band is starting to move in. Might add an inch or so. Never got into good rates as it came over 15 hours or so. Really strange snow, very granular, almost sleet like but smaller. Really compacts down. Wasn't as much fun to shovel as I thought it would be.

vespasian70
Let's hope that heavier band works it way more NE, or we may struggle to get an inch out of this sugar snow.

BuckeyeSam
Coming down pretty good here. Flake size definitely the largest it's been since it started. And radar looks to be lining up perfectly. High impact due to the low temps. Roads are a mess.
