ORH_wxman
H5 closed off over PHL at 57 hours...QPF queens won't like that frame since it has a sucker hole over SNE at the time...but I really like the way the midlevels are trending. wxsniss
Still a disorganized mess at the surface, but a HUGE step towards a bigger impact for SNE That closed ULL track shifted ~50 miles southwest, now off NJ coast and moves well under SNE, is pretty textbook Every single model beginning at 12z today has shifted midlevel features southwest... towards RGEM lol? CT Valley Snowman
yes still elongated and Fujiwara looking but there was some improvements there if you can look past the surface results, particularly with that ugly dry slot.

CoastalWx
Tries to give E MA a death band before exiting right. Yeah, but I like how it tries to get things going despite the little QPF Queen gaps of precip over SNE.

mahk_webstah
does this mean the whole storm just occludes to soon or doesn't come as far north in the end? I have bad memories of Boxing Day trending right up to the end towards a tuck and stall off Jersey. I didn't enjoy that day too much.

I request he adds "QPF Queen" to his list of banned words/phrases. Any credence to the holey nature of precip as depicted? Or is it just an interim solution before models catch on? Any credence to the holey nature of precip as depicted? Or is it just an interim solution before models catch on? The GFS also has hinted at it. It's an area in between the NORLUN to the SW and the developing comma head that started here, but pushed NE. I really wouldn't get too concerned about those details..and besides, we got a good parting gift which is a product of a farther SW look.
