CT Rain
Sort of cool to see good dendritic growth with a burst of omega at 900 hpa! The GFS has been showing this for a while now.

CT Rain
Yeah no kidding Ryan. How often does that happen. LOL. In a normal storm if I saw that I'd pretty much throw the towel in but this one is so cold it actually is a good look as the storm pulls away. CT Rain
Was impressive in your video blog to see you so amped about damaging winds . If the GFS is right with those kind of winds at 925 hpa on the backside. The arctic air is impressive so low level mixing should be deep and efficient. The NAM is much more meh with that low level wind profile.

Hailstoned
Chilly day More specifically, Has a sub 500DM closed 5H low gone under SNE since 19 freakin 66? How about the warm, incredibly intense Southeaster that brought hurricane force gusts and a storm surge in the Buzzards Bay area in (I think) January of 1976? (Early Feb, maybe?) That would seem to be a candidate.

Guaranteed you won't get called Major Tom. Lol On a serious side it's almost time for some strongly worded warnings to start cooming out of the NWS. N. OF PIKE
Some never before seen things are gonna happen Sunday Well, If we get sufficient Winds during the storm and given the amount of powdery snow on the ground (feet and feet and feet) I think a blizzard will be pretty much a certainty for any area that can verify 3hrs of 35 mph winds. dendrite
nneStill sub 500dm heights over SNE. If you're going by low center over SNE then fine...you win.
