HoarfrostHubb
whooosh smoosh, it was a joke on wills locking a thread because well, theres just too damn much fun going on here I don't have a clue on how to translate tidal charts + wind projections into coastal flooding projections...you are the king of this (and Ackwaves). Issues in Hull? I honestly don't understand how that spit of land survives
weathafella
OK, here goes. BOS 8-12 ORH 6-10 PVD 6-10 HFD 4-6 CEF 6-8 PVD 6-10 PYM 8-12 But there is no damn science in this since I don't get QPF/ratio stuff yet. My opinion is HFD will do better but overall solid work. moneypitmike
My opinion is HFD will do better but overall solid work. That HFD/CEF differential is similar to what I was envisioning in my response to Ryan that a little latitude could more than compensate for being a little further west. We'll see. dryslot
We can probably start to look at the RGEM now, in terms of clues as to where it is headed. I think we need to invite RGEM to the 18z party. May still be outside of its range
N. OF PIKE
The 72 hr position on the Euro is about as perfect as it gets, bring them up kids, bring them up Do you have 7H heights on that , what is the tightest closed contour at that hr. Damage In Tolland
Wouldn't everyone rather be talking about frost quakes in CT? Ginx snewx
Man Jeffaffa Eck and Chris at GYX , 35 knots sustained with total whiteout conditions progged at 13 degrees with almost .65 in 3 hrs, thats 2 per hr with zero visibility at daybreak Sunday, guess church will call a delay. WinterWolf
Just imagine hundreds of poles being knocked down onto tens of feet of piled up snow, along roads that are still impassable even to pedestrians. Outages for weeks if that occurs. There isn't going to be any poles going down lol. Maybe a few powerlines here and there, but that's about it. We aren't going to see 75-85mph winds with this here in CT.

N. OF PIKE
Ya, the more I look at that euro run it would seem we are closer to something big in SNE what delayed the TROWAL feature forming sooner edit ENS SW ...weenie optimism flags raised. 40/70 Benchmark
Yea, I think it becomes more concentric and a tic further sw. Prob. dampen out the inverted trough look, too...those are often provisional solutions.
ORH_wxman
Ensembles were a little bit SW of 00z. More juice this run. Yep, for the Queens, the ensembles are actually a bit higher QPF than the OP for SNE.

ORH_wxman
Red flag? I think it shows the nuances involved in the QPF output...there's probably several ensemble members that tighten up the ML circulation to our south. The tracks are nearly perfect, it is just a matter of getting the conveyor cranking a shade sooner as it matures into a more well defined ML center versus a bit elongated. Dave5
Update fellas...Called the hotel in Newport, changed the reservation to Friday night. They had one room left: The deluxe King suite which they upgraded me to free of charge. Looks like I'm not screwed? Or am I? Haha
