SR Airglow
Euro hour 72 from Twitter, this is all I can see but I like this a lot.
Clinch Leatherwood
Euro is coming in pretty south again, though probably not as much as 12z...but we're talking small differences again...model noise...similar to the same extent the GFS came south at 00z.I don't think it'll be as extreme. Seems to be doing same as last time, Wants to lag south of consensus
mahk_webstah
so nothing game changing it seems. was hoping to see better downstream ridging or something, but doesnt sound like it backed off

Clinch Leatherwood
Euro pretty meh down here.Moved towards consensus. I'd be psyched if I was dryslot. Coastal Maine should get smoked
SR Airglow
Similar to the GFS at 84, definitely backed off compared to the 12z run for southern areas. Decent consensus now between GFS and Euro it seems.
wxsniss
That pretty much sums it up. It was that wobble of the outer low around the extension that shafted jersey. Most models non euro have a similar deal this time to one extent or the other. We'll see... obviously we fared not too badly 1/27-28, but this system has a shorter window to get its act together. We in eastern MA don't want to be where NYC was then. Euro through 72h looks... north?
ORH_wxman
I like the upper level look much better than the QPF Queen look though...I'd take my chances any day of the week with a deep closed 5H low over the 40th parallel due S of BID. SR Airglow
Congrats SnowNH and Dryslot, absolutely crushed. Don't like this run for down here however, it's a definite trend to the GFS as far as a later development and hence a further north focus on the precip shield. NorEastermass128
Euro pretty meh down here through hr 84.A meh 6-12". I'll take it.

ice1972
Nice hit hour 78, again from Twit. Has that inverted trough thing-a-ma-jig.....did 12z have that?
Clinch Leatherwood
Epic hit for ME and SE NH this run. That's the strike zone for this one. Rest of us are on the outside looking in. Unless there's a major change in init at 12z I think that's where this is going. Euro looks FIMish but a bit north
CoastalWx
The ULL looked great, but a bit too late. That's the risk as mentioned.
weathafella
The H5 low is in a perfect spot, closed contour under New England, stay tuned.
SR Airglow
Has that inverted trough thing-a-ma-jig.....did 12z have that? Nope, not really unfortunately. That's what we don't want to be seeing for the reasons explained above by Will and also because they tend to screw far more than they reward and to be in that reward is nothing but luck after a point really. CoastalWx
I'll take it though. Good wrap around.
Baroclinic Zone
Great hit for ME. Is it meh to you because the best in north or is it meh because it's a minor storm? You write in cryptics.
ORH_wxman
The H5 low is in a perfect spot, closed contour under New England, stay tuned. Yeah I'll def take much chances with that. I know QPF Queens have been "the in" for a while now...but good grief, that thing is almost textbook for a monster SNE hit.
Quincy
I like the upper level look much better than the QPF Queen look though...I'd take my chances any day of the week with a deep closed 5H low over the 40th parallel due S of BID.Queens will be queens. weathafella
Well verbatim 6-10 for BOS but 12-24 for Maine. 4-8 for ct BDL east.
mahk_webstah
I like the hook back to the nw in the precip field. 6 and 12z will have more data...perhaps we get our tick then moe w if its gonna happen. Where i am seems on the edge of something good, but Dryslot is looking great with room for error

Well the ULL is in a good spot, but the best WAA and QG forcing is closer to ME. That can happen...the ULL track can be ideal, but depending on the shape and orientation...it can mean the best forcing is north. However this run had good wrap around and TROWAL.
