MJO812
Any more snows to talk about or is this the last one for a while? Tomorrow and this weekend. Euro has been trending south with the low for this weekend. Right now, looks like some snow which turns to a mix and rain for the coast. Still have to watch that though. It looks like maybe an inch or two with the squalls for tomorrow.
mob1
At about midnight last night it was pretty obvious that we were gonna get some decent snow, those who called for very little were sticking to their guns a little too long (kind of like what us weenies do when it becomes painfully obvious that an event won't work out) all the posts of how the radar returns back in PA had a southward component to their movement was simply reverse snow goggles. The HRRR was an insane now cast bust . I posted the latest HRRR run at midnite . It had 1 through the city and the S shore of Long Island. 2 in a spot near the city and 2 to 3 in Monmouth . TwcMan
The HRRRlarious model. A lot of the short terms busted with this. Just goes to show that weather does whatever the hell weather wants to do lol
IsentropicLift
Looks like that band is extremely shallow. It's barely showing up on KOKX radar.
