This cutoff reminds me of 2-5-10.

Nam shows a few inches for nyc while close to 6+ for cnj southward

Yes, but that was a 2 foot gradient; not a 2 inch one.

This is the statistical peak of the snowfall season. It's sort of like going through the first weak of September with nothing more than a weak TS to show for it.

The city only averages 9 inches of snow for the month of February...so how much can you realistically hope for...granted...outlying areas do average a foot or more for the month.

Lol this one's easier to handle. Missing out, but only on a moderate storm

DC / National Airport will likely find a way to screw this one up...they are more of a loser station when it comes to snow than the Park or JFK Airport.

I really don't concern myself with NYC which averages 12-15" less than me each year. My YTD total of 29.75" is roughly the seasonal average at KNYC.

Will prob have one more threat next weekend and then that's it...cutter city

The best way to describe the GFS over the next two weeks is cold and dry followed by warm and wet. Classic pattern shift as the battle begins between the cold air holding strong over Canada and the warmer air starting to surge North.

Well, looking at the ledger at the bottom of your post...it shows a sum total of 10 inches of snow for you by the midway point of the month over in Bergen County...which would seem to be an above normal amount for your location pro rated through half the month; even factoring in that the 1st 14 days of the month are likely a bit snowier than the 2nd 14 days.

I'm in northeastern Morris County, right at the base of where the elevation begins.

That storm was probably worst of my life....1" at home, with 12" 30 miles to my south, and 24"+, 60-70 miles south...

I drove up from Cape May on the 6th. By the time I reached the vicinity of Belmar, the clouds were showing signs of breaking with brightening further north. I don't think I'll ever forget the cutoff from nearly 2 feet of snow to virtually nothing.

NYC is a very small strip of land in a very large metropolitan region that covers parts of three states. I know I'm in the minority here but I really don't know why I should be expected to care about how much snow falls there.

You should not but sometimes you show your bias when you are reporting to the general board.

That's fine; but the original point stands.
