Bob Chill
I'd much prefer to worry about a flip than a scrape. I want #s. Even if it flips it will turn into a glacier. 1-2" of fluff will sublimate and evaporate quick in mid Feb even without melting. Frozen potatoes is fine

Bob Chill
Will the euro trend north or remain a Biiggg Wiffa? It's coming north. How much is the question. New Gfs has been good inside of 96. The important stuff happens at 72-84. I'd be more than a little surprised if the euro holds.
Ian
Will the euro trend north or remain a Biiggg Wiffa? It used to have a bias with SW energy but supposedly that was fixed. But it would maybe fit in with what it's showing.

Ji
It's shocking you have 10,000 followers on FB. Americans are so dumb. they like sense of humor and teacher snow days
winterymix
The 250 mb and 500 mb charts at around hrs. 100 to 110 are nuts. The upper levels seems to have tremendous velocity carving a very strong trough. If the GFS is getting those upper levels correct, these next ten days should be wild. Bob Chill
If it holds I think we have a full blown model war. I'm pretty sure it's not going to hold. New gfs and euro haven't diverged much in the broader picture inside of 96. Any shift nw tonight is a good sign. I don't think it will be as friendly as the gfs though. Angela T
RIC gets .70" qpf thru Thursday 1AM, but there's a warm layer so there's snow, then sleet, then back to snow I only have 6 hour intervals so it's hard to know exactly the changeover but you get some more qpf after 1AM Thursday and that would be snow I'll let you know in a sec Thank you. I really appreciate you taking the time to look into the RIC area. I know we are on the fringe of the MA.
