Deck Pic
http://www.raymondcmartinjr.com/weather/1995/04-Feb-95.html It was a good very quick storm..piled up really quick even on main arteries. I think I got around 6" in Old Town. Started around midnight and was only like a 5-6 hour event....I got caught in it, and a lot of people got stuck... Bob Chill
lol- when i said there were about 10 euro solutions that looked completely unacceptable, 18z gfs chose one of them.

PrinceFrederickWx
Thanks for the correction i thought 94 also tied the all time record low. If i am not mistaken it has happened 5 times over the years at BWI. That's right, the five dates were: 2/10/1899 2/9/1934 1/29/1963 1/17/1982 1/22/1984

South is a hell of a lot better than north or west at this range.

North Balti Zen
Yeah, that worked out well on Dec 19 Thanks - not every storm comes North - a suppressed southern slider absolutely is a way for us to get screwed, and would top off the winter... Scarlet Pimpernel
How much of the 18Z's solution is influenced by the strength of the clipper bomb over the weekend? Is this a case of that being too strong screws us?
BaltimoreWxGuy
12/26/10. Just saying. I understand its possible but im not worried about it yet with 5 days out and the 18z showing this...arguebly the SE bias run at least on the old GFS..idk about new

Is this a case of that being too strong screws us? It's not really that. The vort digs further south so the track shifted accordingly.
