Thunder Road Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 I'm giving a primer on forecasting snow (and sleet) ratio to our AMS chapter and I want to use BUFKIT and reference some real cases. Iowa State's archive goes back to 2011 for all BUFKIT sites, rather than just the Iowa area, so it can be from anywhere, but if it's something the folks would remember it matters more. I'm thinking Feb 2013 for low ratio. IIRC that was like 5:1 slush. If I can't find anything better I'll probably pull out LAF got GHD for the sleet case. I could really use a high ratio event though.
