DavisStraight
This is the year of the never ending snowstorms We'll remember this year for the blitz and snow pack but we'll also remember the duration of these storms, I picked up another 1/2 inch in the last couple of hours. Jebman
Continued... In this bottom picture, the drift has grown high enough that the potted plant hanging outside (at around 4' above the ground) has been completely engulfed. The plant is normally somewhere near the lower middle of the window. Peabody - EPIC Pics!!!!!! By the end of Feb that back door will be completely engulfed in snow. Turtle
Hi gang! Could you please post your final snow totals onto the WFO BOX website under "Submit your reports"? We'd like to get the final for the entire event, from Saturday through early this morning. That way, everyone's report is listed there. If you are a trained spotter, please include your spotter number. Would like to see a final there from you guys. I do have some finals already...THANKS! Thanks so much! --Turtle

MarkO
16.9" final for Lowell. I believe that puts me at 78.4" over the past 17 days.
Zeus
Another 2" overnight. Same here. Logan's 23.1 good enough for 7th all time on the top 10 snowstorms in BOS list, passing 2005 and 1978's January storm along the way.
Zeus
Also? Snowing here in Waltham, partner in crime reporting huge flakes back at the castle in Brookline. Looks like a little band coming in off the harbor on radar. You know, to freshen up the pack. If there's OES tomorrow and Thu-Fri grazes and Sat-Sun hits, it's plausible BOS records snow obs in 8 straight calendar days.
Hoth
Nice fluffy OES shower coming through Cambridge now.

Zeus
Wonder what BOS at 7am was? Snowing btw. They'd have needed 1.6" -- which may have occurred, given what was falling last night in the wee hours -- to pass up 6th place on the list. Which is, believe it or not, our blizzard from just two weeks ago. You know, the big one BEFORE the 18" from the SWFE a week ago?

sankaty
Ended up with 7.25" here. We've gotten a ton of snow over the past few weeks, and it's less than half of what Boston areas have had. Hard to imagine. Snow depth around 21".
