Hambone
The view of our front yard. That's the most snow that the gazebo roof can hold, the new is just avalanching off the sides. Without snow it's about 11ft tall.

N. OF PIKE
Nice pictures they are amazing. Let's snap more this could be once in lifetime. When I get up to grandparents later today I am going to take a snow depth sample. They are on Wakefield/Lynnfield border. Anyone else lets get some, depth samples from around the area! South Shore depths should be special

JMPhysicsTeacher
Love the black and white effect, makes it look more historic, which it IS! I must be up over 36" depth. Probably more like 40". I don't EVER think the pack has been this deep in these parts since record keeping. Heaviest snow of the day and the wind blowing it all around has got me all giddy. Definitely an overperformer if this continues. Another snow day tomorrow for the kids? Would make it 7 days off in 11 days. Lowell will probably cancel as the roads are a mess. Other districts nearby may delay. Intensity picked up in Dracut--strangely temp up to 20° ----need to check that and verify.

weathafella
Probably 14-15 but the rates hitting now should get them to verify the 18-24 BOX called for when all is said and done. Don't think this thing has enough gas to get over 24 so that's a hell of a call. They've been at +SN for awhile. I bet they're 17-18 at 1PM. Zeus
They've been at +SN for awhile. I bet they're 17-18 at 1PM. Possible, but you of all people know the possibility that it comes in lower. Still a couple of hours left to push for a top ten event regardless.
Winging_it
Here in Townsend we have been just north of the good snow all day - same it seems for the lower Merrimack valley in NH. Only 2.5" since 6 AM. Model consensus showed that relative min of forecast snow in this zone all along. 10.5" total here with sand snow continuing to fall lightly.
