moneypitmike
coating.....mood flakes....yawn The modest rates--at least through tomorrow--will be painful. 2-4 overnight tonight, 2-4 tomorrow. But, it beats a thaw. 21.1/
Damage In Tolland
Does it make sense we have some graupel mixed in?
Max
Got about half an inch from initial bonus wave of overrunning. It was between 15-20 to 1 fluff. If the rest of the snows falll with those kind of ratios, we will easily get over a foot here in N. CT.
CoastalWx
Does it make sense we have some graupel mixed in? Yeah I had some earlier. I think it's more rimed flakes. Mixed in with giant fatties.

powderfreak
Nice currier and ives snow out there most of the day so far. Only a half inch of additional fluff since early this morning though. Awesome wintery appeal though, snow just curling around branches and stuff. We've had like zero wind in town with a lot of these snowfalls over the past couple weeks and this stuff just stacks up high on all the trees and various objects, even power lines. metagraphica
Snowing almost continuously for 4+ plus hours...just a light coating to show for it. Hit 33o at 1pm so it was melting as fast as it was coming down. Had some heavier graupel around 2pm that finally coated things. Still coming down lightly now. SR Airglow
Had a steady light snow from around 130 on up at Loon but only a coating on my car to show for it. Definitely was noticeable while skiing though as it gave a nice refresher layer between each run.(was also heavier higher up on the mountain which helped a lot).
