Clinch Leatherwood
I'm thinking an area like Woburn to Peabody gets demolished tonight. I think it'll be quite a bit further S&E. Wxniss, no signs that front is moving, if anything it just dipped S&E a bit in the last few frames. Now or never, still low 20's in Hull and points to the se. Yea, its probably going to be Peabody to Boston, or Weymouth. Not Woburn. I actually hope its waaay down south because at this point, I know I'm not getting in it, so I want the damn thing as far away as possible. TalcottWx
Harvey putting all of south shore in 18-24" zoneHires said around or past midnight the front makes solid progress west.seemed like the south shore really gets a nice burst and banding on the back end of the storm. Departing fun.

Typhoon Tip
That was hilarious.. .I decided to catch Harvey's report, and at the tail end of it, Mike Lynch's segway into the sports column he says, "How do follow that!?"
wxsniss
Harv 16-24" inside 128 including North shore, Boston, South shore includes 4.6" already fell in Boston Clinch next few hours will tell the tale, agree temps have not budged. HRRR is pretty insistent Sbos I hope you're right, I think heaviest rates may be a bit further south, Medford to Lynn and south

MarkO
I'm not expecting much more than 12" total here in Lowell. I was up north for the weekend, so not sure how much has fallen already, but I'm guessing around 5"
40/70 Benchmark
Good/great gains for both of us, although I think this qualifies as one of those OECJ situations you hate. I knew in the back of my mind this one would go that way. I remember expressing that concern to Scooter yesterday. Really cold storms with a dearth of synoptic forcing=circle jerk. What I mean by circle jerk, is the heavy snow is relegated to the immediate n shore, through boston, and into se MA.

40/70 Benchmark
I'd guess 6-12 up here ray. I feel like your solidly in that 12-20 area just on the fringe of the 18-25 jack we end up seeing somewhere within 128. The way that coastal front fluctuates west tonight on its northern portion should allow you to get into some good banding on the western side of the cf. Man, I'd like to be at my dad's place in Woburn center.
40/70 Benchmark
Even without heavy snow, though....this is how you draw up winter. Awesome outside. 10.5/

amarshall
Just drove north conway to Duxbury with a stop in Boxford. Boxford looks like 2k foot elevation in the green mountains. I've never seen so much snow in a suburb. Temps. No Conway 5 Boxford 11 Boston 19 Braintree was 22 and snow dumping at Braintree split. Roads were terrible. Hanover 26..snow with ice on top at my office Duxbury 33 Ski areas up in NH are absolutely amazing.

It's beautiful outside right now. Bought a ticket to the Bs/Habs game and cant wait to come out afterward to solid snow. Then walking to whatever bar I feel like! Haha!
