Sand coming down but at a good clip now.

The rate is solid. Hate the flakes, but this crap gets the job done with the coastal front just SE of us and the radar setting up to run train on us.

Still think 18-24 is silly, but given that we've already had 6-7 down and it's gonna snow for more than 24 hours, I can't totally rule out making it to the min there.

I picked a great to to come up here and chase. It's beautiful outside right now. Bought a ticket to the Bs/Habs game and cant wait to come out afterward to solid snow. Then walking to whatever bar I feel like! Haha!

Glad you could come and get in on the fun! Great bars right across the street from the garden.

Mountains always win. Our observers from northern Coos to Sugarloaf have picked up 4" today alone. Meanwhile the middle of the forecast area is getting all the dry air.

Local ski resorts here picked up 6-8" in the past 24 hours.

The Greens here are starting to look like the mountains in Japan.  Just caked in feet and feet of snow.

Perhaps that will keep the morning commute in the Portland area from being nasty; I know my wife would very much like that!
