NorEastermass128
Crippled. Overrunning performs beyond expectations, but then the coastal steals the show. 2' for some? Wow!

NorEastermass128
I judge snowstorms by the speed at which Harvey speaks during his 11pm newscasts... That said, it's on! 0z GFS looks pretty great for a majority of the area.
wxsniss
big hit Monday, biggest hit so far on the GFS GFS has been hinting at this all day as discussed earlier: that coastal may morph from a prolonged 4-8" Monday into something bigger for eastern MA GFS consistently likes North Shore / suburbs northwest of Boston
Ginx snewx
I can only imagine qpf is overdonesmelling the cold now, many here have said how overrunning qpf increases as models sniff the slope. To add a synoptic defined coastal to that is pretty insane. Holy crap as depicted that's the third chartreuse in two weeks, meaning the pink purply color number 11. Max
Scott, did the GFS really trend north with overrunning? Looks pretty much the same to me. I mean qpf for the MA/CT border looks more robust than 12z.

Ginx snewx
I remember distinctly talking about the scrolls at the museum I work at and the written accounts of incredible winters and how the young tag teams from EMA said they were exaggerated and that could never happen again. Well well college boys there's some proof in that pudding if this goes down as depicted tonight.
