CoastalWx
Ok. Scolded again. We'll see I guess I'm not scolding you, but that storm was deep layer east flow to the Ionosphere. This has srly flow at 850.
dendrite
I'm not scolding you, but that storm was deep layer east flow to the Ionosphere. This has srly flow at 850. And mostly NE flow at the sfc north of the boundary.

dendrite
SREF mean is a tick north with the best overrunning...not that it really matters. Those NCEP maps blow though.

ORH_wxman
There will be mesoscale nuances with this...and possibly even some terrain upslope..but the sfc is NE or even NNE flow...this isn't like a 30,000 foot thick layer of air from an 070 direction like the firehose storm or Dec '92. SnowlieSnowstormson
Al Roker hasn't looked at a model since god knows when, he's even confused where Boston is : Al Roker @alroker 2h2 hours ago Boston:Winter Storm Watch starting Saturday on-Monday pm. Details on that and wicked western weather @NBCNightlyNews He is actually tweeting about the west coast and all the rain they are having. That's why he said "and"... dendrite
arw arw arw Yeah well they're in 15z too. I'm comparing 21z to that. But yeah...it could be 1 or 2 Ron Washington members snorting a line in BML.
TheSnowman
News Update: I wanted to mention that I have a concert in Milton with a singer where we will be doing jazz classical French and other styles as I don't play in the area much and maybe closer to where some of you are. 4pm at first Parish Church on Canton St.. Also - Do any of you know anyone that works at Blue Hill Observatory or the Ski place? Really need that contact. THANKS. Back to weather - Once again L Rocher and the NBC broadcast are talking about the storm has if many to expect 1 to 1 1/2 feet of snow which is just a terrible idea on the media spark considering how the models have not come to an agreement at all yet. Also he clearly used the NAM model for the "American models".

moneypitmike
48 hours of light-moderate snow doesn't have the same excitement of 12 hours of heavy snow. It's going to be a slow climb to the 10-14 inches over that length of time. But, beggars can't be choosers. 13.2/
