jamesnichols89
GFS dumps 3-6, or 4-8" with the overrunning potential as far south as Cape Cod, MA and the coastal is coming through NY state at hour 66. Only out to hour 66 right now.
Damage In Tolland
RGEM looks like it held pretty steady from 12z on the axis of overrunning...QPF is greater since we get to see another 6 hours, but the axis is still pretty much the same: That's a solid 3-6 from about here north. Man this is just awesome

TheSnowman
Forget All you Pike North people. GFS says for the 2nd Run in a row - Northern RI to Boston Special! On the coastal at least.

TalcottWx
OT: Posted a cool picture of the seaport snow farm in banter. Will take a look. Not far from work. Boy oh boy. GFS looks like it trended further north with it's coastal low track? Fun for all.
SouthCoastMA
Crushed even here on the gfs. Wow Yeah..boundary is right on the south coast, and well south of you. maybe some taint here but any additional movement south and even my area is in the game. jamesnichols89
Immediate south coast of CT could see serious mixing issues, but the Cape and Islands could see 4-8 or 6-10" with more snow according to the GFS.
jamesnichols89
Feet for all Yeah Kevin, the areas that got blasted from the blizzard look to get blasted by this coastal storm too, and there is another coastal/clipper on the GFS for next Thursday as well, however this one looks too far north. joey2002
But can we trust the GFS? GFS and Euro have both been pretty awful this winter... I'd weigh the RGEM heavily.
TauntonBlizzard2013
Yeah..boundary is right on the south coast, and well south of you. maybe some taint here but any additional movement south and even my area is in the game. I think you'll do well, especially with the coastal. This seems to be trending better down this way.

40/70 Benchmark
Harv is answering questions on Twitter @ 7pm. Man, his tone was hilarious.....he had 9-spot up for Boston's high next Friday, and once he ran down the 7 day planner and reached next Friday, he took on a morose tone..."now, I don't mean to discourage anyone or depress anyone, but this time next week looks like the coldest weather yet this season, after we get through this prolonged snow event of 8-15"+" Harv crying for momma

Zeus
GFS and Euro have both been pretty awful this winter... I'd weigh the RGEM heavily. Neither has been completely trustworthy, but consensus has usually worked out well this winter. Right now the goalposts aren't all too wide unless you factor in the effing NAM, which seems to be solving the maze slowly but has not yet reached the cheese at the end. TalcottWx
A general 1 to 2 feet along and north of kev right up to nh seems like a good starting point. Harv seems to be thinking that way.
